What are the 2022 show dates?

Saturday August 20th/21st. The Hangar Dance (Adult only, 19+ Venue) & Twilight Airshow is on Saturday the 20th. The Main Event is Sunday August 21st.

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, there are no pets allowed except for service animals (seeing eye dogs, etc.)

Is parking available?

Yes, Parking should be available along Airport Road adjacent to the Terminal Building Friendly volunteers will be in place to show you to the nearest parking space if available, if you want to avoid the congestion. Take the Shuttle Bus provided by BC Transit and the City of Chilliwack. Park in Lots 5, 6 or 7 at the old UCFV Campus (corner of Airport and Yale Roads) and catch the convenient shuttle bus. It runs every 15 minutes you can download the Shuttle Schedule by visiting the location tab on the website.

Is there parking for the disabled?

Yes, vehicles displaying a recognized 'disabled' tag will be directed through the gate to the VIP parking area

What type of terrain is the general area?

The main patron area is asphalt/cement and a folding chair or blanket to sit on is recommended. Umbrellas are recommended.

Can I park an RV in the parking areas?

No, due to angle parking and limited space parking of RV is not supported

Is there a charge for admission or parking?

NO! Admission to the show and parking is absolutely FREE! There will be donations collected at the entrance gate to support the Chilliwack Flightfest Society with costs for the production of the Chilliwack Flightfest

How does a vendor receive permission to sell food/wares?

All requests for information on becoming a vendor or providing services should be directed to this form.

How do I obtain information about becoming a sponsor?

There are many sponsorship opportunities. Visit this page to get started with the sponsorship level that works for you.

What happens if it rains?

In the event of rain some flying demonstrations may be delayed or postponed, however, unless the weather poses serious threat to the safety of the visitors and participants, the show will proceed as scheduled with some modifications.

What is a static display?

A static display is an aircraft that is on display inside the spectator area. It is not an aircraft that will perform in the show but it will be available to view and take pictures.

Where can I stay overnight?

There are numerous motels and hotels available in the local area. It is suggested that visitors make reservations as early as possible. A good resource for finding lodging in the local area is Tourism Chilliwack

Can I leave and re-enter Flightfest?

Yes

How much does the show cost to enter?

This is a FREE event. We do accept donations at the gate if you want help support the event in the long term. We appreciate all the help we can get :)
